COVID-19 and Telehealth solutions for pain and injury

With COVID-19 and the uncertainty it brings, lots of businesses are moving to Telehealth physiotherapy services to increase social distancing at our clinic in Adelaide.

You can still see us at the clinic, but we are shifting lots of these appointments to the local park and have made other changes to make sure people are safe.

Luckily, Telehealth Physiotherapy is nothing new for us! We have been working with people from all over the world, using Skype and Telehealth, to bring the entire clinic to people - wherever they are.

Having completed a 100 sample clinical trial of our Recovery Coach Telehealth program last year, we know that Telehealth physiotherapy is effective. The average person reduced pain by 20% and improved their chosen functional scores by an incredibly 91% in the first six weeks.

An independent research paper is in process on this trial by Lorimer Moseley’s pain group, Body in Mind, aho partnered with Form Physiotherapy and an Australian insurer to complete the trial.

As coronavirus continues to unfold, looking to novel and effective solutions to stay active is more important than ever!
